City Impact’s Early Head Start Program Goals
The City Impact’s Early Childhood education program goals are clear, defined, and are implemented by highly experienced educators in a setting that is designed to help your child succeed.
At Sunrise Children’s Foundation, our free Early Childhood programs are designed for children aged 0–3 and aim to achieve the following goals:
- School readiness: Your child will be in an environment where they’ll be able to experience learning through the play-based model. With this model, children have the opportunity to explore their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Health and wellness development: Our Early Childhood education programs also have a strong focus on addressing health and wellness needs. This is done through resources that provide regular health checkups, mental health services, and access to nutritional services like the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.
- Developing stronger families: Our Early Head Start programs are woven closely with the family support programs offered through Sunrise Children’s Foundation. Some of these programs include parenting classes, family workshops, and other support services.
- Safety and security: The Early Childhood education programs at Sunrise Children’s Foundation offer a safe and supportive environment, and our facilities adhere to the latest safety standards as outlined by local and state regulations.
- Inclusivity and accessibility: All children should have a strong start to life, and our Early Childhood educational programs are designed in a way that promotes inclusivity, accessibility, and equitable support for all children, including those with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
What Services Does Sunrise Children’s Foundation Offer at Our City Impact Location?
The Sunrise Children’s Foundation City Impact location offers a safe, fun, and supportive environment for young children from birth to age 3.
There are both indoor and outdoor spaces for children, and your child will spend their time focusing on their cognitive, social, emotional, and developmental skills through a play-based model of learning. It’s through this approach that they’ll learn the school and life readiness skills that will allow them to build a strong foundation for success.

Our Early Childhood education programs are designed to support children and their families in a way that helps them build a skill set for success that will serve them even after they advance past the Early Childhood education program.

The City Impact location is quite accessible and is just minutes away from many communities in downtown Las Vegas. While Sunrise Children’s Foundation doesn’t directly provide transportation services to help your child get to and from our daycare services, we can connect you to programs and services in the community that can help provide transportation support.
Accessible Care for All Children
For some families, including families of children who have needs related to developmental or intellectual disabilities, home services are available. These services make it easy for you to receive Early Childhood education support right in the comfort of your home.
